I would like to give my highest recommendation for Can Heat (A division of Ages 2010 Ltd).
Our home in Lamont flooded on the evening of July 20, 2018 due to street flooding. I called Pat at Can Heat the next day and he was able to have his crew out within 24 hours. The incredible part was they dried out my entire basement in 6 hours.

We have had floods before and had other companies come in to dry things out. We have seen everything from dehumidifiers, fans, and combinations all used with drying times varying from a week to 2 weeks. Our home has unique features as an upgraded historical home including a sponge brick feature wall with a wood burning stove in the basement. The sponge brick soaks up moisture and usually takes an extremely long time to dry completely. Pat and his team showed me the humidity results after they were done and it was dry in 6 hours. You could tell their process was better because there were no lingering smells or humidity after the fact.

It has been 6 months since they left and all I can say is what they did in 6 hours was incredible. Their structural heat pasteurization process and the incredible airflow generated by their equipment is amazing. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to move on from a flood quickly and with the confidence of knowing that everything has been thoroughly dried. Knowing that their heat treatment system also reduces the chances of mold or mildew issues is just an added bonus. The Can Heat team are absolute professionals and our family is so grateful they were able to help us reclaim our basement so quickly. – Brian – From Lamont, AB, Phone # Upon Request

What is heat remediation?

Our heat treatment unit allows us to heat up the whole areas up to 10,000+ square feet at a time, and our fan system circulates the heat into all furniture and into cracks and crevices. When directed towards the walls, and the temperature is raised quickly enough, experience has shown that bedbugs will not escape through the walls and will remain in the target area.

Temperature probes are distributed throughout the affected area and monitored remotely. Once the temperature has reached 60C for over 30 minutes all eggs, larvae, pupae and adult insects will be killed. We keep the room up to temperature for approximately 4 hours to allow heat to penetrate the furniture and walls.

Heat Remediation is a safe, efficient and highly effective solution for the control of bed bugs and the best part it is chemical free.

This high heat temperature range will kill all stages of bed bug development no matter where they are hiding, such as in furniture, behind base boards, etc., where stand chemical may not reach.

Heat remediation does not only eliminate bed bugs, it will also eliminate other bugs, dust mites, cockroaches, beetles, viruses, odors, mold, and other pests from your home. Click here to view various bugs of Canada.
