What is heat remediation?
Our heat treatment unit allows us to heat up the whole areas up to 10,000+ square feet at a time, and our fan system circulates the heat into all furniture and into cracks and crevices. When directed towards the walls, and the temperature is raised quickly enough, experience has shown that bedbugs will not escape through the walls and will remain in the target area.
Temperature probes are distributed throughout the affected area and monitored remotely. Once the temperature has reached 60C for over 30 minutes all eggs, larvae, pupae and adult insects will be killed. We keep the room up to temperature for approximately 4 hours to allow heat to penetrate the furniture and walls.
Heat Remediation is a safe, efficient and highly effective solution for the control of bed bugs and the best part it is chemical free.
This high heat temperature range will kill all stages of bed bug development no matter where they are hiding, such as in furniture, behind base boards, etc., where stand chemical may not reach.
Heat remediation does not only eliminate bed bugs, it will also eliminate other bugs, dust mites, cockroaches, beetles, viruses, odors, mold, and other pests from your home. Click here to view various bugs of Canada.
